RE[act] Festival for a Sustainable Belfast 2026

Linen Quarter BID is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to place-making and delivering tangible benefits for businesses, communities, and the wider city. Through RE[act], we create space for meaningful conversations and practical action around sustainability, while showcasing the innovation already happening across Belfast.

RE[act] Festival is rooted in optimism and action. It explores the everyday choices that shape our future, from the food we eat and how we travel, to the energy we use and how we care for our natural environment. The festival celebrates local leadership, sparks collaboration, and inspires new ways of thinking about a more sustainable, inclusive Belfast.

Taking place city-wide from 9–15 November 2026, the festival will be built around five core themes: People, Planet, Peace, Prosperity and Partnership. The programme will feature a wide range of free, accessible and interactive events, including keynote talks, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, film screenings, wellness walks, foraging, exhibitions, river tours, and networking opportunities.
