I joined LQ BID in the summer of 2023 as the first ever Healthy and Sustainable District Manager. I oversee our initiatives related to health and sustainability. We run an annual health week in June and year-long health centered events such as gym classes, sports activities, training and more. This year, I am leading the team in organizing the much anticipated Re[act] Festival 2024, the only festival in Northern Ireland focused on a making a better and sustainable Belfast.

On top of that, I also engage with stakeholders and work with them collaboratively, encouraging them to adopt a more sustainable business practice. This includes member’s accreditation through Cycling UK, Living Wage Foundation, JAM Card and Belfast Business Promise to name a few.

Favourite LQ Landmark: I think the district, dubbed the Linenopolis in the 1700s, has so much history and is a landmark in its own right. If I had to pick one, it would be Ormeau Baths. The Victorian Bath House has provided a neutral space for families and workers since it opened its doors in 1888. How cool is it that until today, Ormeau Baths has been a place of collaboration and creativity for more than 130 years.

Favourite place to eat and drink in LQ: For drinks, I love a good rooftop moment, so definitely The Perch. I also love cocktails with a view, so my top pick for that will be The Observatory at The Grand Central.

For food, I am a day-dining person and love a good brunch spot. We have two of the best places for brunch in Linen Quarter, Panama and Harlem are both a degust-must-try and always my go-to.
