Great Victoria Street / Amelia Street: February - April 2026
The works involve the installation of a new pedestrian crossing on Great Victoria Street, between Brennan's Bar and Millennium House.
Saturday 18 April & Sunday 19 April 2026
- Great Victoria Street will be closed to vehicles southbound between Wellington Place and Bruce Street and northbound between Bruce Street and Glengall Street;
- Amelia Street will be closed to vehicles between the junction with Keylands Place/Baines Place and Great Victoria Street;
- The above roads will be closed from 8pm on Saturday 18th April and reopened by the morning of Monday 20th April.
- Footpaths will be unaffected.
- Work will take place 8pm-11pm on Saturday 18th April and start at 8am on Sunday 19th and will continue until the road is resurfaced and white lining complete.

Hope Street: January - May 2026
The works on Hope Street involve drainage works and the installation of new kerbs, footpaths and a cycle lane.
Monday 12th January onwards
- Closure of the left turn slip road into Sandy Row (western end of Hope Street). There are diversion routes in place and access to Sandy Row is still available from Linfield Road, Boyne Bridge Place and Wellwood Street.
- Closure of one lane (the southern lane) and the parking bays at the eastern end of Hope Street. Access is still available onto Great Victoria Street.

Monday 2 March – Saturday 21 March.
- There will be no eastbound access to Hope Street/Bruce Street from Boyne Bridge Place, Linfield Road or Sandy Row.
- The west bound carriageway from Great Victoria Street to Sandy Row, Linfield Road and Boyne Bridge Place/Durham Street will be limited to one lane.
- The slip road from Hope Street onto Sandy Row will be re-opened.
- The existing access for St Andrew Square pay and display car park will be closed for kerb, footpath and cycle lane construction.
- The St Andrew Square pay and display car park and Europa multi storey car park can be accessed from St Andrew Square East.
- Footpath access will be maintained

Sandy Row/Linfield Road/Boyne Bridge Place/Hope Street junction
The works involve the upgrading of traffic signals and pedestrian crossings and will take place on SUNDAYS ONLY
Sunday 22 March and 29 March 2026.
- Lane closures in place with signal-controlled contraflows in operation
- Traffic flows will be available north and south bound on Sandy Row and Boyne Bridge Place as well as east and west bound on Linfield Road and Hope Street on both Sundays
