Road works tracker
Hope Street: January - May 2026
The works on Hope Street involve drainage works and the installation of new kerbs, footpaths and a cycle lane.
Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th May 2026;
Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th May 2026;
Saturday 30th – Sunday 31st May 2026.
- Works to take place at the western end of Hope Street with no vehicular access from Boyne Bridge Place, Sandy Row and Linfield Road. Hope Street will be closed in both directions between that junction and St Andrew Square East.
- Vehicular access will be available to and from the Great Victoria Street junction as far west as St Andrew Square East only
- Pedestrian access will be available
- Boyne Bridge place will be closed southbound at the junction with Glengall Street – drop-off and pick up for the station will be in Glengall Street, with the exception of Blue Badge holders who will be given access to the drop off points.
- Access to and from Linfield Road will be made available via Boyne Bridge Place, for local access only.
- Sandy Row will be closed northbound from Donegall Road, with local access only, as far as Rowland Way.
- Works will take place over the 3 weekends with working hours 8am – 6pm on all days.

Grosvenor Road: June - July 2026
The works on Grosvenor Road involve the installation of new kerbs and repaving of existing footpaths.
Monday 15th June – Sunday 21st June 2026;
- An 1 lane closed westbound on Grosvenor Road, between Great Victoria Street and Athol Street, to allow new kerbs to be installed;
Monday 15th June – Sunday 12th July 2026;
- The footpath on the south side of Grosvenor Road will be closed between the Great Victoria Street junction and Durham Street junction. Pedestrians will be directed at the crossings at both ends of Grosvenor Road, to use the northern footpath.
