Great Victoria Street: October 2026
The works on Great Victoria Street are part of ongoing public realm improvements in relation to the Belfast Grand Central Station project.
Monday 12th – Friday 16th October 2026;
- The southbound closure of Great Victoria Street between Howard Street and Bruce Street from 7pm on Monday 12th October to 6am on Tuesday 13th October. The northbound lanes will remain operational. Diversionary routes will be in place. (see traffic management plan);
- The northbound closure of Great Victoria Street between Bruce Street and Howard Street each night from Tuesday 13th October up to and including Friday 16th October from 7pm to 6am the following morning. The lanes will be reopened each day (6am to 7pm). The southbound lanes will remain operational throughout. Diversionary routes will be in place. (see traffic management plan).
