JAM CARD FRIENDLY ACCREDITATION SUPPORT
Building a More Inclusive Linen Quarter
The JAM Card is a simple yet powerful tool that helps people with invisible disabilities navigate everyday interactions with confidence. By bridging communication barriers, it creates more understanding, inclusive, and supportive spaces across our district.
At Linen Quarter BID, our vision to become Northern Ireland’s first sustainable district goes beyond environmental impact, it’s also about building a place where everyone feels welcome and included.
One way we’re putting this commitment into action is by supporting businesses to achieve JAM Card Friendly Accreditation through NOW Group. The JAM Card is a simple but powerful tool that helps people with invisible disabilities communicate their needs with ease. By adopting it, businesses can break down barriers and create a more supportive experience for customers, staff, and visitors alike.
To encourage more organisations to take this important step, Linen Quarter BID is offering 50% financial support (up to £1,500) for any member completing their JAM Card accreditation.
Inclusion is a cornerstone of a thriving district. By ensuring that everyone, from local employees to international visitors, can engage confidently and comfortably in our area, we strengthen community ties, enrich the customer experience, and build a district that truly reflects the values of sustainability, accessibility, and belonging.
Together, we can make Linen Quarter not just the first sustainable district in Northern Ireland, but also one of the most inclusive.
