Enhanced Cleaning Continues in LQ

Since the beginning of the restrictions back in March 2020, the Linen Quarter Clean Team have continued to deliver services in the Linen Quarter to ensure streets are cleaned and graffiti is removed as quickly as possible. The team continue to work in reduced numbers and are adhering to guidelines at all times.

Our Clean Team, along with our Street Beat continue to be our eyes and ears in the district as many LQ workers remain out of their offices.

Check out update below:

Ballot Bin

After ‘Home Alone’ was confirmed as the Linen Quarter’s favourite Christmas movie, we decided to ask whether pineapple was acceptable on pizza. At the moment it is neck and neck, so if you are in the area be sure to cast your vote, whilst doing your bit to #binthebutt.

Our Ballot Bin is maintained and monitored by our Clean Team on a weekly basis.

If you have fun or quirky suggestions for a question, please email charlotte@linenquarter.org.

Street Washing

Our Clean Team have taken advantage of the reduced footfall to carry out intensive power washing to ensure our streets are clean and safe. We work alongside existing council services to remove moss, weeds, and other debris. All members are entitled to free power washing around their premises. If you would like this carried out, please contact Charlotte (email above).

Graffiti Removal

Our Clean Team continue to identify and remove graffiti whilst documenting this for reporting purposes.  We endeavor to remove this efficiently and proactively. However, if you discover graffiti on your property, do get in touch. Our operatives will assess the nature of the graffiti and the surface, taking care to remove it responsibly.
