Make Music Day – the global celebration of music-making which takes place every year in 1000 cities worldwide –  is returning to Belfast’s Linen Quarter.

On Saturday June 21st, the district will be awash with music for Linen Quarter BID Make Music Day, in partnership with Making Music NI, with 10 performances taking place at various on-street locations and public buildings in the UNESCO City of Music.

From 12pm to 6pm, local and international musicians will bring beats and bants to public spaces, including Flaxx Outdoor Living Room on Brunswick Street, the Rory Gallagher Statue outside Ulster Hall, and Belfast Grand Central Station.

Performers will include Rebecca Hall Harp & Voice, Canadian singer-songwriter Natalie Haskins, teenage bagpiper Henry Spencer and an 80-strong Rock Choir at Belfast Grand Central Station.

All of the performances above are free to attend and no need to book! So come on down to Belfast UNESCO City of Music’s premier entertainment district and enjoy the music as well as the buzzing local hospitality scene!
