Annual Pétanque Tournament

Twenty Eight LQ BID member organisations are entered into our 2nd Annual Pétanque Competition. Local organisations will play head to head between July & September in a number of knock out style fixtures, culminating in the final with big prizes to be won! Navigator Blue are the reigning champions and the ones to beat.

Winners will receive a coveted trophy, as well as a special Food & Drinks experience at a leading Linen Quarter destination, funded by LQ BID.

Feel free to come down and watch, and if you’d like to have a go, you can borrow Pétanque Boules from the Maldron Hotel on Blackstaff Square. You can find a summary of the rules including a short video demonstration over here.
