Streetbeat Good News Stories

December was a busy month for our Streetbeat team, who were actively engaging with our members and providing an enhanced service in conjunction with the Central Team. As well as several arrests for anti-social behaviour, burglary and removing individuals from premises, the PSNI have worked alongside The Welcome Organisation and other partners to ensure the most vulnerable were offered assistance.

Activities also included a Christmas visit with NOW Group, engagement with Bryson service users, Belfast Grand Central Station patrols alongside the Safer Transport team, and traffic patrols around Grosvenor Road.

Over 25 individual members benefited directly from the service over this period. Streetbeat can provide crime prevention training, literature, advice and support for internal and external matters. If you would like to find out more, please contact charlotte@linenquarter.org.
