RE[act] Festival To Return: November 12th-14th 2024

Belfast is on a journey to become a better, more sustainable city.

The way we live, the products we buy, how we travel, the energy we use, and our relationship with nature and ecosystems are all part of that journey.

This bi-annual festival, which last took place in 2021, aims to celebrate and raise awareness of the current sustainability initiatives already taking place across Belfast as well as to inspire more individuals, organisations & policymakers to RE[act] to the challenges and opportunities brought about by Climate Change.

What?

Alongside these themes, we’ll explore subtopics such as Artificial Intelligence for Social Good, Health and Well-being, Youth Environmental Justice, Green Technology, Clean Energy, Responsible Consumption, Sustainable Transportation, Climate Action, Biodiversity Conservation, and much more.

Expect Movie Screenings, Panel Discussions, Climate Cafes, Nature Walks, Food, Exhibitions, Music & Art and a Swap Shop. All for free!

Participants/ Speakers will include International Thought Leaders & Local Government Ministers including Barra Best, DAERA Minister Andrew Muir MLA, Racquel Naboa and Nicholas Boys Smyth.

When?

November 12-14, 2024, happening at the same time as COP29 in Azerbaijan, this will be Belfast’s premier response to COP 29.
