New Businesses Open Across The Linen Quarter

Opening in February 2024, the folks at Taste Deli work hard to cook and deliver delicious food – fast. Enjoy a hot meal or custom-made sandwich from our Parklet which is conveniently placed right outside! We recommend the Cajun Chicken Panini but the menu is extensive, and should have something for everybody!

Based at Great Northern Mall, Bread Street Bakery opened in November 2023 and offers takeaway and sit-in options for up to 40 people, offering freshly baked pastry and breads, coffee and flavoursome lunches, to commuters and office workers nearby. We recommend a gourmet sausage roll washed down with an Iced Americano!

In December 2023, Verona Bridal moved from Magherafelt to Bruce Street with the support of Belfast City Council’s Vacant to Vibrant Scheme. Verona Bridal is an award winning, premium, luxury bridal experience for fashionista brides seeking unique, couture wedding gowns.

Not quite a new business, but a brand new concept has opened at Boneyard from March 2023, which includes some of the cities most talked about Street Food Vendors – Wing It, Orto & Hi Burger. The Outdoor venue has also had a make over, with the pastel colours and transparent roof making it a vibrant and bright outdoor seating area which is still covered from the elements! We recommend the boneless wings!

In addition to Slice by Orto, which offers pizza by the slice at Boneyard, Orto also opened their own all day Pizzabar concept at the former Vero site on Bedford Street in December 2023. Orto use wood-fired pizza ovens to produce an all day offering of focaccia and pizza as well as speciality coffee and desserts! We recommend trying the hot honey on your pizza!

Panama City Garden & Café, opened under new management in Septembr 2023, who have reimagined the food and drink menu to bring you exceptional South American-inspired brunch dishes, expertly crafted coffee, and a selection of fine wines and cocktails. The café is dog friendly, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks with your furry friends by your side. We recommend the Huevos con Chorizo!

Opening on April 16th, 2024, is Bespoke Barber Shops third location which tailors your haircut journey to a whole new level.

Bespoke barbershops aim to offer a ‘social club’ experience, where you can grab a beer or have a game of pool while you wait for your haircut.
