March Spring Clean Up in LQ

LQ March Spring Clean

It has now been one year since the first lockdown necessitated working from home and the closure of offices and hospitality. As businesses across the city centre face continuing uncertainty around reopening, the LQ Clean Team is supporting members by carrying out our Spring Clean; gum removal, street cleansing, graffiti and litter removal. They continue to ensure our streets are clean and welcoming, as well as building community confidence and encouraging people to return to the city centre when it is safe to do so.

Gum Removal

The build up of gum on our streets is unsightly, and often time-consuming and costly to remove. The LQ Clean Team have recently invested in new equipment to make gum removal faster and more effective. We have recently targeted gum on Bedford Street and Great Victoria Street with some excellent results. If you have noticed a build up of gum outside your premises, get in touch and we will endeavour to remove it as soon as possible. The team also power wash the area for maximum results.

Ongoing Graffiti Removal and Power Washing

As many premises remain vacant, the Clean Team are removing and monitoring graffiti in some of the worst-affected areas. The Clean Team, along with LQ staff, are reporting instances of graffiti to ensure the buildings are looking their best for the return of office staff. We recently carried out enhanced street cleansing on Great Victoria Street, as well as the business district; Adelaide, Linen Hall and Alfred Street.
