Food market HALT in former Europa bus centre opens to the public

The new street food market known as the ‘Halt’, is the first phase in the wider 1.5 million square feet Weavers Cross scheme, led by the developer MRP. Its concept has been inspired by the success of similar Belfast ventures such as Common Market in the Cathedral Quarter and the pop-up Trademarket venture on Dublin Road, which closed in July 2024.

HALT contains a range of food and drink offerings including Fowl, Katsu Kitchen, Franky’s Lasagneria, and Root & Branch that cater for a variety of tastes. The market also includes a public bar with indoor and outdoor seating.
