Following a public tender process, Linen Quarter BID are happy to announce that The Paul Hogarth Company has been appointed as the design consultant on the Gasworks Social Space project.  This public realm improvement project foresees for transformation of the central green space in the Gasworks into a public ‘outdoor living room’ with the aim of promoting the central green space as a social focal point for Gasworks employees and visitors alike through the addition of dynamic and user-friendly public realm features.

The Paul Hogarth Company has extensive experience of transforming underused public realm into places that people enjoy and that uphold the highest standards of sustainability. Previous projects include Custom House Square, the Connswater Community Greenway, Donegall Quay, and Hillsborough Castle Gardens.

The BID are pleased to be able to work Andrew Haley and his team and recognise his track record in leading the company in its delivery of major projects, including tourism, placemaking, regeneration, master planning and landscape design. Andrew is Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group, is a Built Environment Expert for the Design Council, and also sits as an Expert on the High Street Task Force. He previously led the delivery of a number of projects within the BID area, most notably the rejuvenation of Bankmore Square.
