Building works for new Great Victoria Street Baptist Church have started

Members and friends of the Great Victoria Street Baptist Church gathered on 16 May for a building commencement service to mark the start of the long anticipated redevelopment project.

Following the congregation’s decision in March to move into the building phase, work has now begun on site for a new church building in Belfast city centre that will provide improved facilities for worship, ministry and community use.

Once completed, the new church will include a 250-seat sanctuary with additional balcony seating, meeting rooms, a youth lounge, sensory room, kitchen and servery, offices, a sports hall and on-site parking.
