Big Spring Clean-Up

To coincide with the Spring Equinox, Linen Quarter BID is organising a district-wide ‘Big Spring Clean-Up’ from Monday 21^st – Friday 25^th March, as part of our Clean and Safe Week.

The BID is commissioning additional resource through our dedicated Clean Team, who will focus on three key areas of work; power washing, litter picking and graffiti removal. The Clean Team work in the district two days per week already, carrying out jobs that would otherwise be costly for members to commission themselves. Clean Week gives us the opportunity to deliver a district-wide deep clean, just in time for Easter and the increasing footfall moving into the summer months. The team will be working to a schedule which will focus on the areas with heavy footfall, hospitality hot spots, and actioning member requests. If you would like a power wash outside your premises, please get in touch.

In addition to providing an enhanced service, the BID is inviting member organisations to give up a little time to clean around their own premises – particularly as the better weather (we hope!) approaches.   We invite members to do something outside their premises and post it on social media. It can be something small, such as removing one piece of litter per day during Clean Week. Don’t forget to tag LQ BID and use the hashtag #LQcleanweek.
