In 2023, 16 organisations faced off in our first ever Inter Company Pétanque tournament with Navigator Blue taking the inaugural trophy.
In 2024, Pétanque fever spread and 28 LQ BID member organisations took part with NI Chest Heart and Stroke coming out on top. BBC’s The One Show even popped down to Blackstaff Square to shoot a segment which was broadcast earlier this year.
2025 Tournament
Can NICHS successfully defend their title or do you think you and your colleagues could reign supreme? Register your interest using the form at the bottom of this page to take part in our 3rd Annual Pétanque Tournament which will take place over lunchtimes in July & August.
New teams will be invited to a practice day, and receive a set of their very own boules to keep in their workplace so that they can practice at anytime.
Winners received a coveted trophy, as well as a £250 voucher for the Observatory Bar at the Grand Central Hotel.
