Clean & Safe Week Reminder

Linen Quarter BID’s Clean and Safe Week will take place over five days, from Monday 21st– Friday 25th March. For the dedicated week, the BID has commissioned additional resource to ensure the district receives a deep clean. Our team will work to a schedule, as well as actioning member requests. In addition to extra cleaning hours, LQ BID is working with our dedicated Street Beat team, with further patrolling hours in place to ensure greater safety across the district. Our committed officer will be on hand to directly engage with businesses, and work to successfully identify and resolve problems.
The schedule for Clean and Safe Week is outlined below:
Monday
- Litter removal on Dublin Road
- Bankmore Square Clean Up
- Power washing on Great Victoria Street
- Enhanced Police Patrols
Tuesday
- Litter removal on Blackstaff Square
- Power washing on Great Victoria Street and Hope Street
- Enhanced Police Patrols
Wednesday
- Litter and graffiti removal on Linenhall, Adelaide and Alfred Street
- Power washing on Bedford Street
- Enhanced Police Patrols
- Safer Business Seminar (see below)
Thursday
- Litter removal on Great Victoria Street/Glengall Street/Hope Street
- Power washing on Brunswick Street/Blackstaff Square
- Enhanced Police Patrols
Friday
- Litter removal on Bedford Street.
- Power washing on Ormeau Avenue
- Enhanced Police Patrols

As part of Clean & Safe Week, LQ BID is also holding a ‘Protect Your Business’ seminar, funded by the Policing & Community Safety Partnership (PCSP). The seminar will provide an opportunity for businesses to raise any concerns they have around safety and crime in the area, and our Street Beat team will be in attendance to answer any queries you may have. The BID encourages you or a member of your staff to attend this free breakfast event. Details are as follows:
