Belfast International Chamber Music Launch

6th February 2020

Join us in the luxurious setting of the Europa Hotel piano lounge for the launch of Belfast’s International Festival of Chamber Music on Thursday 20th February. The festival is the keynote event of Belfast Music Society, the city’s longest standing promoter of classical chamber music, featuring world class concerts, superb artists and sublime music.

Local harpist Gráinne Meyer, often seen performing with the Ulster Orchestra, will be leading the musical celebration with two recitals. Gráinne has recorded for the BBC on both harp and piano, performed for HRH The Prince of Wales on his recent visits to Northern Ireland, and has been part of Edinburgh and Wales international harp festivals as well as the Lorient Festival Interceltique in Brittany. She is also involved in the Live Music Now scheme, which facilitates performances in the community for older people and children with special educational needs.

Please note the evening will feature a private reception for guests of LQ BID and the Belfast Music Society. However, food and drink is also available to purchase at the bar.

This is a free event, so please register for a place here: https://belfastintfestchambermusiclaunch.eventbrite.co.uk
